We need you to help assemble, Wire and test packaging automation machinery, along with its electrical panels and subassemblies.

 
 
 

YOUR KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

We make an extraordinary variety of packaging automation solutions for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, personal care, and consumer goods industries. Our products help bring essential products safely and efficiently through the supply chain. As our Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician 1, you’ll be the one who creates these amazing machines. You’ll ensure all products are crafted with the utmost quality by:

Your immediate contributions will be to:

  • Plans assembly procedures, following specifications and quality control standards.

  • Utilizes the MRP system to track parts, assure part availability and initiate corrective actions when required.

  • Employs the use of precision measuring tools, understanding of mechanical assembly techniques and dexterity in using hand tools and power tools. Demonstrates familiarity with assembly hardware, traditional fabrication equipment & methods to manufacture machine components.

  • Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and schedule delivery dates in order to plan project requirements.

  • Tests and/or inspects or assists in testing operation of machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.

  • Assists the Production Manager and Production Leads in developing or revising standard operational and working practices.

  • Consults with engineering personnel relative to modifications of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.

  • Interprets and follows instructions on project specifications, mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics, and processes. Demonstrates an understanding of parts lists and corresponding item numbers.

  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Participates as part of a team with rotating roles and responsibilities to achieve performance goals.

  • Confers with Production Manager and Production Leads to coordinate activities in individual areas.

  • Recommends adjustments to work procedures in order to meet production schedules.

  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

  • Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

Must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing assembly with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background

  • Always maintain a clean and safe working environment

  • Possess quality focus, sound judgment and decision making

  • Ability to lift to 30 pounds frequently

  • You’ll be based in our Exton, PA facility

  • On-the-job training will be provided (we will help you become the Omega expert!)

  • You’ll report to the Production Supervisor

  • This is a manual labor position
