YOUR KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

As the AP/AR Specialist, you will be multitasking and taking ownership of processes integral to the success of the organization.
Accounts Payable
Coordinate approval, code and process vendor invoices and low volume expense reports.
Match vendor invoices to purchase receipts in the system.
Investigate and resolve any vendor invoice discrepancies.
Complete new vendor applications.
Maintain vendor invoice files.
Accounts Receivable
Generate customer invoices and down payments in the system.
Process low volume of credit card payments.
Process low volume of customer checks through bank check scanner.
Download customer wires and ACHs from bank accounts.
Apply customer payments in the system.
Investigate and resolve any customer invoice discrepancies.
Other
Maintain tax compliance records (S&U Tax Exemption Certificates, W9s)
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for relevant accounting system modules and software applications.
Assist with other accounting functions as knowledge and time permits.
Assist Controller with ad-hoc projects.
Manage online platform relationships (Ex.: Ariba, Coupa)
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
You will be based out of our headquarters in Exton, Pa. Omega offers its employees hybrid work options (on-site and remote) and flexible work weeks. There could be occasional travel, like to attend an annual tradeshow or to receive some training.

Qualifications:
Associates degree in accounting preferred or combination of education and 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable but will consider candidates with additional experience.
Strong analytical skills including knowledge of MS Office with special emphasis on Excel
Ability to learn new computer software (knowledge of Infor Visual preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to meet critical deadlines
Ability to manage multiple and quickly changing priorities
Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP
Handle sensitive and/or confidential information.

You’ll work cross-departmentally with Sales, Purchasing, Receiving and others.
